As part of a team whose responsibilities include 24×7 management of NOC (Satellite devices , Routers, Switches, MPLS, Firewalls and Monitoring tools), the primary responsibility of the Senior Network Engineer is to support the NOC activities of STL environment.
- To build, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure
- Assists with the design, build up, maintenance and management of Data Centres.
- Provides first and second level support for all our clients.
- Monitors the performance of systems
- Creates a comprehensive report on all systems.
- Liaises with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent certification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working Data Centre
- Must hold a valid MCSE certification
- Windows server 2003, 2008, 2012, Red Hat enterprise server, Linux Centos
- Storage – EMC, Netapp, including inter-site replication
- Virtualization solutions e.g. VMware Vsphere
- Backup Solutions
- Ability to design, build up, maintenance and maintain work processes
